WHAT ARE TRAILER WRAPS?

HOW TO DESIGN YOUR TRAILER FLeet WRAPS
Trailer wraps can be fully customized with any color, design, or message you want, making them a powerful tool for promoting your fleet brand or business on the road. They are designed to contour to the unique shape of each individual trailer and can be easily removed at any time without leaving any residue.
We always recommend to customers that they don’t skimp on the design portion of the project. This is the one aspect that needs to be done right, so you get the greatest amount of leads from your fleet wrap.
A great fleet graphic should feature your logo, website and phone number in large, clear text so passerby can quickly recall the contact info and call you later.
Whether you’re looking for a full or partial trailer wrap on your fleet, our printing capabilities will bring your design to life on your vehicles.
According to most studies, a trailer wrap generates up to 70,000 impressions per day – that’s a lot of potential leads and customer exposure to your brand!

TRAILER WRAPS FOR BUSINESSES
Mobile advertising is one of the most efficient and affordable marketing strategies available today, and our custom-designed trailer wraps can help you take your brand on the road and reach a broader audience with ease.
Mobile advertising is more efficient and affordable than a lot of traditional digital advertising projects your brand might undertake because you only need to pay for it once. The exposure remains for the 5 – 7 year lifetime of your trailer wrap.
Our team of dedicated experts will work closely with you throughout the entire design and installation process, whether you have one trailer or a whole fleet, to create the perfect trailer wrap that suits your unique business needs and budget. From displaying your contact information and services offered to incorporating your brand’s colors and imagery, we’ve got you covered!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO INSTALL TRAILER FLEET WRAP?
Timing will vary depending on the size of the trailer and the complexity of the design. National Car Wraps works with only experienced installers, and generally, a standard-sized trailer wrap will take anywhere from one to three days to install.
HOW LONG WILL A TRAILER WRAP LAST?
Trailer wraps are designed to last for several years, typically between 5 to 7 years, depending on various factors, such as the quality of the vinyl material used, the amount of exposure to sunlight and weather, and the frequency of maintenance and cleaning.
National Car Wraps uses only high-quality vinyl materials like 3M and Avery cast vinyl, which are durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions, UV exposure, and other environmental factors that can cause wear and tear over time.
However, the longevity of your trailer wrap will depend on how well you take care of it.
HOW MUCH DO TRAILER FLEET WRAPS COST?
The cost of a trailer wrap can vary depending on several factors, such as the size and complexity of the design, the type of vinyl material used, and the amount of coverage needed.
Generally, a typical wrap on a small trailer can start at $1,500 for a small trailer and range up from there. A partial wrap, or decals, start at just $590.

ENCLOSED TRAILER WRAPS
Enclosed cargo trailers are the best value in vehicle advertising, full stop. The sides are flat, tall and completely uninterrupted — no windows, no door handles, no compound curves — so artwork lands exactly as designed. A 20-foot enclosed trailer gives you well over 150 square feet per side, and it costs less to wrap than a pickup with the same coverage.
Contractors, event companies, mobile services and distributors get more out of an enclosed trailer wrap than almost anything else they could brand, because the trailer spends hours parked at job sites and venues where your customers already are.
LANDSCAPE AND OPEN UTILITY TRAILER WRAPS
Open landscape trailers do not have solid sides, so a conventional wrap has nothing to stick to. The answer is printed aluminum or composite panels mounted to the trailer rail — effectively a purpose-built billboard that bolts on, wrapped in the same vinyl and printed from the same file as the rest of your fleet.
For landscape crews this is often the single highest-return branding available: the trailer sits at the curb of the neighborhood you want more work in, for hours at a time, in front of exactly the homeowners you are trying to reach.
CUSTOM TRAILER WRAPS
Every trailer wrap we produce is custom — printed to your artwork, cut to your trailer’s actual dimensions, and mocked up on your specific model before anything goes to press. We work from your existing brand assets, or our design team builds the artwork from scratch if you do not have print-ready files.
That extends to unusual builds: refrigerated trailers, gooseneck and flatbed rigs with headboards, concession and vending trailers, and race or display trailers used as mobile showrooms. If it has a flat panel, we can print for it. Send us photos and dimensions and we will tell you what is possible before you commit.
TRUCK AND TRAILER WRAPS AS A MATCHED SET
A wrapped trailer behind an unwrapped truck looks unfinished, and it costs you the recognition you just paid for. When the tractor and the trailer carry one continuous design, the whole rig reads as a single brand at highway speed instead of two separate vehicles that happen to be attached.
We design truck-and-trailer combinations as one artwork file and install them together so the colors match exactly. See semi truck wraps for tractor coverage, or box truck wraps if you run straight trucks alongside your trailers.
TRAILER WRAP DESIGN: WHAT TO GET RIGHT
A trailer is seen from further away and for longer than any other vehicle you own. That changes what good design looks like.
- Scale up, then scale up again. Type that looks oversized on a laptop is usually about right on a 53-foot trailer. Your phone number should be legible from several car lengths back in an adjacent lane.
- Design around the hardware. Door hinges, side rails, license plate brackets, DOT tape and mud flaps all sit on top of your artwork. We map them onto the template first so nothing important lands underneath.
- Reserve the rear door. The back of a trailer gets the longest, most attentive viewing of any panel on the road, because drivers behind you have nothing else to look at. Put your strongest call to action there, not a repeat of the side.
- Mind the ribs. Corrugated and riveted trailers distort fine detail. Bold shapes and heavy type survive; thin scripts and small text do not.
- Leave the bottom foot alone. Road spray, curb rash and tire wash chew up the lowest section of any trailer. Keep critical content above it.
We produce a full-size mockup on your trailer’s actual template before printing, so you approve what you are getting rather than what you hoped for. See how the process works.
