CUSTOM FLEET GRAPHICS FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

Fleet graphics are partial-coverage branding: cut vinyl lettering, printed decals, door logos, spot graphics and compliance markings applied to an otherwise unwrapped vehicle. They are the most common form of commercial vehicle branding on the road, and for good reason — they cost a fraction of a full wrap and can be updated without redoing the whole vehicle.

WHAT WE PRINT AND INSTALL

• Cut vinyl lettering. Individually cut letters and logos with no background panel. Clean, permanent, and the least expensive way to put a company name and phone number on a work vehicle.
• Printed door decals. Full-color logos die-cut to shape. The standard choice when your brand mark has gradients, photography or more than two or three colors.
• Spot graphics and partial coverage. Printed panels on doors, rear quarters, tailgates or box sides. This is the middle ground between lettering and a full wrap, and usually the best value per impression.
• DOT and compliance lettering. USDOT numbers, MC numbers, GVWR markings and unit numbers, sized and placed to meet federal requirements.
• Reflective and safety markings. Conspicuity tape, chevron panels and reflective lettering for vehicles that work roadside or after dark.
• Removable magnets. For leased vehicles, seasonal work or subcontractors — though for anything permanent, applied vinyl looks considerably better and lasts far longer.

FLEET GRAPHICS OR A FULL WRAP?

We quote both, and we will tell you honestly when graphics are the better buy. Graphics usually win when:

• Your vehicles are leased and have to go back in original condition.
• The fleet is large enough that per-vehicle cost is the deciding factor.
• Your branding is a logo, a name and a phone number rather than a full visual design.
• The vehicles are already a strong brand color from the factory — a white van with good lettering reads perfectly well.
• You expect to rebrand, merge or change phone numbers within a few years.

A full fleet wrap wins when you want the vehicle itself to be the advertisement, when you need to cover an inconsistent mix of factory paint colors, or when you are competing on impressions and want every square foot working.

HOW MUCH DO FLEET GRAPHICS COST?

Fleet graphics are priced by coverage and complexity, not by vehicle. As a working range: simple cut vinyl lettering on both doors generally runs $250 to $600 per vehicle installed, and printed spot graphics covering doors and rear panels typically land between $600 and $1,600.

WHY PRINT-AND-SHIP DECALS FAIL ON FLEETS

You can buy fleet decals online, have a box arrive, and hand them to your drivers. For one vehicle that is fine. For a fleet it creates the problem you were trying to solve.

Decals applied by whoever happened to be in the yard end up at different heights, at slightly different angles, with trapped air and lifted edges that peel within a season. Six months later half the fleet looks deliberate and half looks improvised — which is worse for the brand than no graphics at all.

GRAPHICS FOR EVERY VEHICLE IN THE FLEET

Most fleets are mixed, and the same artwork has to be adapted per body style so it reads consistently. We handle vans, box trucks, pickups, trailers, semi trucks and Sprinter vans — and if you decide partway through that a subset of the fleet deserves full coverage, we can mix graphics and full wraps in the same program.
