COMMERCIAL VEHICLE WRAPS
Turn your company vehicles into your best-performing advertising — whether you run three of them or three hundred.

YOUR WORK VEHICLE IS ALREADY DRIVING PAST YOUR CUSTOMERS
A wrapped company vehicle is the rare piece of advertising you buy once. It works while you drive to the job, while you are parked at the job, and while you sit in traffic on the way home. A single vehicle in normal use is seen tens of thousands of times a month, on routes you were driving anyway.
Compared to almost anything else a small business spends on marketing, the cost per impression is not close — and unlike an ad campaign, it does not stop when the budget runs out.
COMPANY VEHICLE WRAPS FOR BUSINESSES OF ANY SIZE
Business vehicle wraps cover your company car, van or truck in printed vinyl carrying your branding, contact details and whatever else you want a potential customer to read at a stoplight. They go on over factory paint and come off without damaging it.
National Car Wraps handles commercial wraps for everyone from a two-van plumbing company to national service brands. The difference between those jobs is scale and logistics, not craft — the same design, print and installation standards apply to your third vehicle as to somebody’s three hundredth.
WHAT A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE WRAP COSTS
Pricing follows vehicle size and coverage. As a working range, installed:
- Car or compact SUV, full wrap: roughly $2,500 to $3,800.
- Pickup or cargo van, full wrap: roughly $3,000 to $4,500.
- Partial wrap (doors, rear quarters and tailgate): roughly $1,600 to $2,800 — usually the best value if you are branding a small number of vehicles.
- Lettering and door decals: roughly $250 to $600 per vehicle.
If you are wrapping more than a few vehicles, per-unit cost drops noticeably because design and setup are spread across the run. Try the vehicle wrap pricing calculator for a ballpark, or request a quote for exact numbers on your vehicles.
FULL WRAP, PARTIAL WRAP OR LETTERING?
Most businesses do not need a full wrap, and we would rather tell you that than sell you one. A rough guide:
- Lettering and decals if your vehicles are already a consistent color, your branding is a name and a number, or the vehicles are leased. Covered in detail on our fleet graphics page.
- Partial wrap if you want real visual impact on a budget. Covering the lower two-thirds and the rear gets most of the attention a full wrap does for well under half the price.
- Full wrap if the vehicle is a mismatched color, if you are in a crowded local market where standing out matters, or if you want the vehicle itself to be the brand rather than a surface carrying a logo.
WHAT MAKES A COMMERCIAL WRAP ACTUALLY WORK
Most business vehicle wraps underperform for the same handful of reasons, and all of them are design decisions made before anything gets printed.
- One message, not five. A driver has about three seconds. What you do and how to reach you is the whole job. Service lists, social icons and a QR code on a moving vehicle are wasted ink.
- Type sized for distance. Your phone number should be readable from two car lengths back, which usually means far larger than it looks correct on screen.
- Contrast over cleverness. Dark type on light ground, or the reverse. Mid-tone artwork on a mid-tone background disappears at speed.
- Design for the rear. The back of the vehicle gets the longest, most attentive viewing of any panel, because the person behind you in traffic has nothing else to look at. It is the most under-used surface on most wraps.
GROWING PAST A FEW VEHICLES
The point at which this stops being a design problem and starts being a logistics one is usually somewhere around vehicle five, or the first time you have vehicles in two cities.
That is where we are different from a local wrap shop. We keep your approved artwork and color profiles on file and install through a vetted network across the country, so the van you add in another state next year comes out matching the ones you wrapped today. If you are past that point already, start with fleet wraps or how our fleet process works.
WE WRAP EVERY KIND OF WORK VEHICLE
Whatever your business drives: cars, pickups and work trucks, cargo vans, Sprinter vans, box trucks, trailers, semi trucks and buses. See our work for businesses we have branded, or the gallery for finished vehicles.
