BOX TRUCK WRAPS
The largest flat advertising surface in your fleet — designed once, printed to one spec, installed anywhere in the country.

A BILLBOARD THAT DELIVERS YOUR FREIGHT
A 24-foot box truck gives you roughly 200 square feet of flat, vertical, unbroken surface on each side and another 60 on the rear door. No compound curves, no window cutouts, no door handles interrupting the artwork. It is the easiest vehicle in your fleet to wrap well and the one that returns the most impressions per dollar.
The economics are hard to argue with. A wrap is a one-time cost that keeps working every time the truck leaves the yard, on routes you are already paying to drive.
BOX TRUCK WRAPS FOR COMMERCIAL FLEETS
Box trucks, straight trucks and cube vans all share the same advantage: a large, flat, rectangular canvas that a designer can actually use. Artwork that would get lost in the curves of a pickup reads cleanly at highway speed on a box.
National Car Wraps designs, prints and installs box truck wraps for fleets running in one metro or across forty states. You approve one design; we handle installation wherever the trucks actually run.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO WRAP A BOX TRUCK?
This is the first question almost everyone asks, so here are real numbers rather than a form to fill in. Box truck wrap pricing is driven by box length and how much of the truck you cover:
- Full wrap, 16–20 ft box: roughly $3,000 to $4,500 installed.
- Full wrap, 24–26 ft box: roughly $4,000 to $5,500 installed.
- Three-quarter or half wrap: roughly $1,800 to $3,200, typically both box sides and the rear door with the cab left factory.
- Partial graphics and lettering: roughly $600 to $1,600, covering the logo, contact details and a rear-door panel.
- Rear door only: roughly $500 to $900 — the single highest-value panel on the truck, because it faces the driver stuck behind you in traffic.
Three things move those numbers: whether the cab is included, whether the truck carries a liftgate, roll door track or side skirts that complicate the install, and how many trucks are in the run. Design and setup are amortized across the fleet, so ten trucks cost meaningfully less per unit than one.
Our vehicle wrap pricing calculator will narrow it down in a couple of minutes, or send us your truck list for exact pricing.
FULL WRAP, PARTIAL WRAP OR BOX TRUCK DECALS?
The right answer depends on how the truck is used, not on budget alone.
- Full wrap when the truck runs urban or highway routes with heavy traffic exposure, or when your fleet is a mix of paint colors you want to unify.
- Half or three-quarter wrap when the box sides do the work and the cab does not need to match — a common, sensible compromise that saves 30 to 40 percent.
- Box truck decals and lettering when the truck is already a strong brand color, when the vehicle is leased, or when you need compliance markings and a logo rather than a full visual identity. See fleet graphics and decals for that route.
ROLL DOORS, LIFTGATES AND OTHER REAL-WORLD OBSTACLES
Box trucks look simple to wrap and mostly are, with a few specifics worth knowing before you sign off on a design.
- Roll-up rear doors are corrugated. Vinyl can be applied over the ribs, but artwork with fine detail or small type will distort. Designs for roll doors need bold shapes and large type — we mock this up so you see it before printing.
- Liftgates cover part of the rear when stowed. If your rear-door artwork carries the phone number, it needs to sit above the gate line.
- Rivets and seams on older boxes need post-heating so the vinyl stays down through the first temperature swing.
- Translucent or FRP panels on refrigerated boxes behave differently from aluminum and sometimes need a different material spec.
WRAPPING A BOX TRUCK FLEET IN MORE THAN ONE STATE
A local shop can wrap the four box trucks at your yard. It cannot wrap the four in Dallas, six in Atlanta and nine in Sacramento to the same spec, in the same colors, on a schedule that keeps your freight moving.
We print every panel centrally from one approved file, then schedule installation through a vetted national network so trucks go down in waves instead of all at once. One project manager, one invoice, one set of artwork on file for the trucks you add next year. Here is how the process works.
BOX TRUCKS AND THE REST OF YOUR FLEET
If your box trucks run alongside other vehicles, the artwork has to be adapted per body style so the brand reads consistently. We also handle semi trucks and trailers, pickups and work trucks, cargo vans, Sprinter vans and trailers. Start at fleet wraps for the full picture.
